Previews & Reviews

A nice preview from here

And another one from Eyewear, a poetry and popular culture blog here

Lancaster Litfest is anticipating our arrival here

The audience opinions are starting to roll in – ‘A beautifully crafted collaboration. Thank you!’ said someone in Norwich. ‘Priceless, baby!’ said another (that’s a quote from one of Daljit’s poems). In Chipping Norton, we had ‘Language lapping, larking – loved it!’, ‘Delicious, cheeky, enchanting, quirky, uplifting’ and ‘I thought more than usual!’. Another ‘Priceless, baby!’ from Newcastle, as well as a ‘Brilliant and super’. Mslexia magazine came to see us in Newcastle and blogged a review here – it’s the Feb 23rd entry. ‘Funny, moving and surprisingly wonderful’ thought the audience in Bath. Here are some photos from Newcastle and an extended review from Bath. ‘Intelligent, wordy & sexy’ thought the people of Hull.

Are we blowing our own trumpets too squeakily? We’ve had one cool comment. ‘It’s a bit short’ thought someone in Norwich. Leave ’em wanting more is what we think!

NewcastleReview – here’s what MA Creative writing student Stephen Cuthbertson thought; and here’s another Newcastle review.

Here’s a review from Lancaster. ‘Like meeting old friends, known and unknown’ another Lancastrian thought; and more people thought ‘funny’ and ‘giggly’ in Torrington than anywhere else so far.

The Londonist is anticipating the London gig here, but meanwhile we’ve been to Cambridge (‘What poetry was made for’), Liverpool (‘A lighthouse beam of joy!’) and Stockton (‘Beautiful, inspiring, a privilege, rare’).

We’re so pleased that people have enjoyed the show. There’s only one performance left: Kings Place in London, on 26th April. Come and see it, and tell us what you think.
